Hello.
I’m Jessica, and I’m honored to offer virtual counseling services across Wyoming. I specialize in grief and trauma, walking alongside people as they navigate some of life’s most difficult seasons. My path into counseling is deeply personal. Before becoming a therapist, I spent years serving as a funeral director and deputy coroner, where I witnessed firsthand the weight of loss and the strength it takes to keep going. Alongside my own search for trauma-informed care, those experiences led me to this calling—supporting others through healing, hope, and renewal.
I hold an Associate Degree in Mortuary Science from Arapahoe Community College, a Bachelor of Science in Human Services from Colorado State University, and a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Chadron State College. This blend of professional training and lived experience shapes the way I approach my work: with compassion, authenticity, and a commitment to meeting people where they are.
In my practice, I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to create a safe and supportive space for growth. I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a powerful tool for trauma recovery. I work with adults, adolescents, couples, and families, always with the belief that healing is possible and that no one should have to walk their journey alone.
It would be my privilege to support you as you honor your story and take steps toward healing and new beginnings.
